Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Body lotion
Greetings everyone!!
This is my personal review of Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Body lotion.
Well let me give you some background on how I came across this lotion. I had been on a weight loss mission for quite a few months and finally managed to lose around 10 pounds. Yes!!! And one side effect of weight loss, as you must be aware of, is stretch marks. I got them around my tummy area and upper arms. One fine day, while net surfing, I saw this lotion on an online retail site. I was so impressed by the cocoa and vitamin E combination and the company’s claim of being Paraben free that I ordered it!
Lets see what the company claims:

Lets see what the company claims:

My experience with Palmer’s
Cocoa Butter Formula Body lotion:
My skin Type: combination skin with oily T-zone.
The body butter comes in a pump style dispenser bottle. It’s quite thick
in consistency however it gets easily absorbed into the skin effortlessly. Very
small quantity is needed so I think the bottle will last for ages!!
The texture is buttery and smooth. It just melts into the skin and most importantly
the butter is not at all greasy. I have tried TBS Cocoa butter but found it too
greasy. But with Palmer’s I think its perfect neither drying nor greasy. It’s a
big plus for oily skin beauties!
Coming to the smell obviously it smells cocoa!
Like some sweet delicious chocolate. I was sooo very tempted to eat it J!! The fragrance lingers for quite a long time. But it’s not at all
overpowering just a pleasant, mild cocoa scent. Divine!!!!
Now the most important claim of fading the stretch marks and scars:
Well
I don’t have any scars but for the stretch marks I must say this cream is truly
a wonder!! Yes it did fade most of the marks on upper arms and few from the
tummy area. I started noticing improvement on my upper arms in a month. I had
light colour marks and now they seem to have blended with my skin colour and
less noticeable. The ones around my tummy area are also gradually smoothing.
Needless to mention my skin has become super soft and supple!! I am very very happy
that I found this body butter!!
Quick Pros:
- Smooth and buttery and gets absorbed quickly
- Heavenly fragrance of cocoa that lingers
- Not a all greasy/sweaty
- Effective on stretch marks Skin becomes baby soft and supple
- Paraben free
- no animal testing
- affordable
Cons:
The body butter is quite thick so after using half way one may find it difficult to pump.
Summing up, I really love this body butter and am surely going to stock it up. I strongly recommend it to all those ladies who are worried with stretch marks and dry skin and looking for a non greasy body butter for all day moisturized skin!!
My Rating: 4.5 out of 5
